I know this is supposed to be my more serious account, mostly for photography, but I couldn't resist sharing this picture of the adorable ball of cuteness that is my new puppy. He is about 7 weeks old and weighs a total of 7 pounds; he is a Bulldog and Labrador mix, and pure cute.

I am holding a vote/idea session about his name since I am somewhat unsure. The front-runners are:

We had a somewhat rough first night last night, his tummy was somewhat upset, he was getting used to me, and new surroundings. We (mainly him lol) woke up at 6am this morning, and since my classes got canceled for today I have been home since. With the exception of our trip to the vet to get the first round of puppy shots and some minor medicine. There is no leash law here so there are lots of strays in the yard everyday, so we are waiting to really socialize him until he has a good immune system. When that day comes though I can guarantee there will be lots of pictures. Stay tuned for some really cute Christmas pictures too. There are several pictures already uploaded so check them out too! You can pretty much expect frequent photo updates that will be accompanied by a journal update filled with puppy goodness.
